Pizza is the center of many incredible meals, but after eating pepperoni, cheese, or combo pizzas so many times, it can seem bland. Nevertheless, there are many incredible ways that you can change a pizza up and create a whole new experience. Here are two new topping combinations to try the next time you have pizza.

Buffalo ranch pizza

  • 180 grams of ranch dressing
  • 120 grams of mozzarella cheese
  • 120 grams of cheddar cheese
  • 240 grams of cooked chicken, shredded
  • 60 grams of cayenne pepper sauce

Mix together the ranch dressing and cayenne pepper sauce until it is fully combined. Spread the sauce on a 30 centimeter pizza crust. Add the mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and add the cooked chicken. Cook at 205 degrees Celsius for 12 minutes and serve hot.

This pizza has an amazing flavor that combines a subtle heat with creamy cheeses. The bread from the crust helps to add additional texture and body to the pizza toppings, making it a robust way to enjoy the flavors of buffalo wings as a full meal instead of a snack.

Cheeseburger Pizza

  • 240 grams of ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 80 grams of bacon, cooked, drained, and diced
  • 60 grams of onion
  • 60 grams of mushrooms
  • 180 grams of mozzarella cheese
  • 60 grams of cheddar cheese
  • 140 grams of ketchup
  • 40 grams of mustard
  • 60 grams of lettuce
  • 120 grams of tomatoes, diced
  • 60 grams of pickles, diced

Mix the ketchup and mustard together until well combined. On a 30 centimeter pizza crust, place the mixture of ketchup and mustard. Add the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Top this with the hamburger, mushrooms, onion, and bacon. Cook in an oven at 205 degrees Celsius for 12 minutes. Once the pizza is cooked, remove it from the oven and add the tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. Serve immediately.

The key to this pizza is keeping the hot ingredients hot and the cold ingredients cold. By doing so, you can combine the textures of the different ingredients in a way that approximates a true cheeseburger. The extra density of the pizza crust over a typical hamburger bun adds depth and complexity to the dish that you don't normally see with cheeseburger ingredients.

Pizza is a palate that you can use as food art. By combining different ingredients from different cuisines, you can create a meal that is nutritious, delicious, and exciting. For more information, contact Calgary Pizza by Wasim's Donair & Pizza or a similar location.
